Looking to add some more style to my b23. Who has any information in lifting one

Welcome. Should be the same as whatever similar year ranger. Is it 4x4?

You can lift a 2x4, lots of people do. Nothing wrong with it. Is it a sport?

coil springs right?

have you looked for spindle lifts? spindle = steering knuckle for this purpose.
that is a modified steering knuckle with the stub axle lowered compared to factory.
yes, lowering the axle stub raises the truck. the distance from the axle stub to the ground is constant because that is the wheel.
a lowering spindle actually raises the steering knuckle with reference to the axle stub.

anyway, a lowering spindle/steering knuckle leaves the control arms and shocks alone. that's best for the rest of your suspension.

Amazon.com: 01-10 FORD RANGER 2WD 4" LIFT SPINDLES : Automotive

search ford ranger lowering spindles, lots of stuff comes up

you MUST SPICIFY 2WD COIL SPRINGS in addition to correct year etc.

What do I do about the rear

Get under and see if you axle is on top of the leaf springs, or under. That will decide if you get lift blocks or longer shackles.

If axle on top, longer shackles. If axle under, lift blocks.

If you get a lift kit though, it will have the stuff for the rear in it

I don't know, been battling a saggy rear for 40 years now :icon_surprised:

OH, you mean the trucks rear.
start with blocks used in 4x4 trucks, go larger as necessary.
