My credo
The perfect is the enemy of the good.
Why does Maverick get better city mileage than highway. I figured a misprint until I saw it several places.

Its a hybrid in base model. they rely more on the electric in stop and go traffic, at highway speeds the electric motors are less efficient. that's how I understand it.

The specs for the non hybrid version are more inline what you would expect.

It's probably just the hybrid that does that.
