Maverick is weird

Then you'll want to get off the Ford bandwagon and ask @Blmpkn when he's going to be done with that Caprice. :headbang:
It’s called the Ford Z plan my man... not the Ford band wagon.

But....but...Ford didn't make a 'Z', that was Chevy. The same folks that made the Caprice. Remember? (lmao)

Not enough room on the roof for the mother-in-law on those things

I owned a Chevy once (technically twice, if you count the one I wrecked before I had my license and had to pay for.)... that was enough for me.

PayPal me like... 5k and I'll finish it real fast haha. I'll even be a nice guy and pay the fees 😅

I will be ordering a ford 9" axle for the thing soon though, slow but steady progress.

. Sorry to burst your little bubble, but a truck doesn’t need to be a f250 or bigger to have a purpose or be called a truck.

Youre right. As long as you buy something from the 70s/80s./90s

You'll have to throw in the roof rack and put a 'Z' emblem on it to seal the deal with @snoranger. Otherwise, it's DOA.

I was hoping to pick up a parts-runner ranger once the lease ran out (autozone/oreileys) but havent seen any appear on lots, autozone now uses zissan versa’s, Id think the maverick would fit that useage well. Lately the escape has filled my need for a trailering “truck” and the hhr is better on fuel for my daily commute. I do miss daily driving the ranger, still get it out occasionally. Once the winter salt bath weather is over it will be on the road regularly again. The maverick is appealing, I just wish it could be a reg cab or even a super cab. Really have no need for a crew cab, would be a big apartment for my little dog. lol.

Buy a sedan and a 4x6 trailer then. Instead of driving a stake further into the heart of the truck market.
Bite your tongue, how many knuckleheads do you want trying to back their trailer toward the side of your rig in a parking lot?

Atleast the falcon had a solid rear and leaf springs
The Falcon also came with a 90 hp six cylinder, tiny drum brakes, and 5 1/2 turns lock to lock on the manual steering or a non integral power steering system Ford designed for the 51 models that wasn't worth crap even then.

It’s fine. Everyone should have to tow trailers and drive supercab/8’ bed trucks instead of getting the vehicle that actually fits their needs.

Wouldnt need a trailer if you had an 8ft box
