What holds the plastic reservoir on the MC?

I was trying to clean my nasty looking one and the fill line, a couple letters and part that goes around the connector just crumbled and fell off. I have another one that looks much better off of my '86 parts truck but I can't seem to really see what holds the two parts together without risking breaking them.

Just the 2 rubber grommets. It just pops up.

I thought there was a roll pin somewhere.

I have a whole, decent master that I took off when I did my rear disc swap.

Nope, no pin. Just had mine apart last month when I was finishing up my axle swap

remember some chevies having a roll pin.
