My credo
I'll do it myself
I'm going to replace my MC. I went to ebay and found that they come with 15/16 ID and 1 inch ID. Is either ok? Both say they fit my 1990 4 liter ranger. I don't care to take it part way off to check for ID if I can avoid it.

According to RockAuto you have two options.... production date of 01/90 and older, or 02/90 and newer. I'd look at your door sticker and base your decision off that... either one will bolt onto your brake booster but I'm about 95% sure the issue you will run into will be the fittings on the lines having different threads.
