so this is probably a really stupid question but i took off the cap on the master cylinder and the rubber piece came out of it and i cant figure out how to get it back into the lid... is there something im overlooking here? i tried just putting the rubber on the MC and then the lid back on but it seems that the rubber is too big to fit in the lid. Any help?

They've made Rangers since 1983 with a variety of MC caps.

Typically, you need to clean and dry it and push its lip seal back into a groove that is either in the cap itself or the MC.

We don't know which type you have. Fill out your signature line with year of truck, etc.
