ok i was thinking of getting a new mass air flow sensor. is it worth it or not i was told it would increase my power but not sure. also if i get a throttle body spacer will that increase my power.
thanks for the help

If your 4.0L has a carburetor on top of it then yes, a spacer will help. But for all factory FI 4.0Ls its just a big waste of money well spent on chicks and beer.

And for more bad news, a larger MAF will give you minimal power gains unless you have already worked over the engine to the point where it is requiring more air than the stock diameter can flow without restriction. Plus, your computer usually does not respond well to larger MAF sensors without tuning.

Search the forums as there are plenty of threads containing great information as to what works and what doesn't.
