We never post trail locations up here. Alaska is a bit different. You step off the road, you are in the food chain (not necessarily the top) and some of our trails will take you miles and miles from civilization. No cell or even VHF coverage. We want you to go with someone and NEVER WHEEL ALONE!!! Generally, all you have to do to wheel is post up and someone will be able to go with you. Next time you go out, you will know where the trail is!

Agreed, your not always the top of the chain. Its best to use the buddy system, cell phones don't get reception everywhere (I did not have a signal all weekend, though Black bear are not nearly as bad as Grizzlies.)
