manual to power locks and windows

I have 92 ranger im almost done with a v8 swap and im gonna move my attention to the inside. I recieve LMC Truck magazines for my truck and Ive seen power window and electric lock kits, could I replace my manual windows and locks with power ones? Has anyone done this if so how hard was it?

This post in the link below was a kit done by member 93baker. It was done on a 93, but it should be pretty similar. I've also done locks on my 96, but I used an alarm as a control with 2 relays and 2 actuators for the power locks. The wiring of that would depend on the alarm you use.

Do a search. This is really easy to do. 1 afternoon and done. But I would suggest getting the regulators and and lock hardware from a junkyard and then just pick up a switch kit from ebay. I did power locks, keyless, and windows for about $125. And i get the comfort of a durable install without worries of trying to make a universal kit work.

yes keyless entry is quite easy. as for power windows i have no idea. in my brothers truck i just got some lock acutators like the ones in my kit off amazon and wired them to the existing keyless entry computers because his actuators were going out, his was a 99 that was a different gen than mine so in theory it should work in yours. just take a look at whats inside your doors as far as lock pins and such just take your time and lay it out, measure twice drill once is a good rule of thumb.

iv had mine for about a year and a half now the only problem iv had is a actuator locking up on me during the memphis summers it looks like it melted or deformed or something. but i got an exact replacement off amazon for $7 shipped.
