Manual to Auto Transmission and Transfer case swap?

I have a 1993 Ford Ranger, 4.0 motor with a 5 speed manual and push button 4x4.

Transmission and transfer case are out. Been trying to find parts to no avail.

Came across a 1994 Ford Ranger, 4.0 motor but it has an automatic transmission with the push button 4x4.

Curious is anyone has ever swapped a manual to automatic?

I'm assuming you would have to do a ton of steering column stuff or cobble together some kind of floor shifter for the automatic tranny.

Also assuming there may be a changing in the engine computer?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

You'll need the trans, flexplate, torque converter, trans spacer, starter, ecu, radiator, and all the linkage and fluid lines.

I'm not sure on the steering column. I made mine a floor shift when I did my swap.

Appreciate the feedback and I did try searching first. Started with the tech info section and nothing to this particular situation was there. Rather than spending hours sifting through transmission swap treads, I'd rather get the skinny on my particular situation.

Thanks again for the help.
