manual steering box with 5.0

how hard do the manual rangers steer all mine have had power steering but i herd that it is easier to just go to a manual box when doing a 5.0 swap .

If you have never driven a ranger with manual steering and a stock 2.0 engine don't even think about putting a 5.0 in a ranger and swapping in manual steering.

Now Allan, you ol' fart, surely you drove MS vehicles back in the day and you shouldn't spook these youngsters into thinkin that PS is the only way to go.

I personally like MS in older vehicles & do have it in my green 94 & plan on doin the same in my 95 project.

I put manual steering in both of my rangers. I honestly wouldn't have it any other way.


Oh, and my dad used a manual steering box in his '83 that he engine swapped to a 289ci.
