My 8 ball would not stick ..got mad one good whack from the base of a 1 lb hammer took care of that!!!

8 Ball on a splined shaft. Drill the 8-ball 1/16 to 1/10 inch smaller than the outer spline diameter. Use a hammer and a 2x4 (to protect finish) and tap it onto the shift stick. No glue, no mess, stays tight.
Gorilla glue will hold anything on there. Trust me, I have used it.
