Manual hub question

I replaced new warn hubs in the ranger last weekend. I looked at my front wheel bearing it was gettin hot and it was time to replace it. I got it and I know how to install it. But there is one question. I was takin it apart and I noticed a clip came out and I looked it up and it was a rattle free brake clip. Where does it go???? If you guys have some advice that would be great!

It clips on the lower end of the inner brake pad on each front wheel.

The inner pad would rattle at low speed, the clip pushes it to keep it from rattling.
many don't re-install them.
