Can anyone give me a source for the o ring that seals the ford manual hub to the rotor? ( other than the dealer ). Ive tried searching this forum but haven't come up with anything. Just curious, Ive had my 1990 Ranger for 7 years and have no complaints with the original manual hubs. Why are there so many aftermarket hubs?

You could prob call warn and get the seal. They have great custoner service and will prob help you out. But really you don't need that seal. I onow of a few people who dont even use them without a problem.

pretty sure i found one at autozone, i remember replacing them. i'll try and find it

edit-well i cant find it on their site, may have gotten in from rock auto but i dont recall, it was a while ago

I just use silicone/ RTV.

There are so many aftermarket hubs, because when they are used hard they strip or grenade. They are fine for light off-road, driving on snowy roads, pulling a boat out, or anything else a grandpa might use 4wd for.
