manual 4x4 tranny fit in push button 4x4 tranny spot?

help! i need to trade transmissions in my trucks (both 1990 2.9l 4x4) but i dont know if the manual transmission with manual 4x4 lever will fit in the spot of my push button 4x4 tranny.

i need help guys.

Yes it will. The bolt holes for the shifter are on the extension housing of the tranny. There are two holes. One is really big and the other is fairly small.

If your just talking about swapping trannys and not tcases, the trannys swap no problem with no changes whatsoever.
 
The transfer case is all you change, the trans is the same for a push button and a manual tcase.
