Manifold swap???

As reported in an earlier post,my manifold on my 2.9 has a small crack right where it bolts on near the #4 cylinder. After a failed attempt of JB welding, it burnt like I was told it would....and a failed attempt of high temp manifold repair gunk...it cracked.... I have found a manifold from a 4.0 and was wondering if it would fit? It looks the same but didn't want to take mine off a pure PITA that I"m not looking forward to, without knowing for sure if the one on the 4.0 would work.

It's the 4.0, a bigger engine, so not 100% sure, but more than likely it will not fit. Just go to your local junkyard. Mine has at least 10 rangers with 2.9's in them.

Highly doubt it'll fit. I believe the ports don't line up.

You'll have to grab one from one of us on TRS or the junkyard.

If you are talking about your exhaust manifold, P.M. me. I am pretty sure I have the cure.
