Sometimes when I have a mystery part like that I Google the part number stamped on the outside and see what description comes up in the google search.

Might be seat belt or door ajar warning. But the inside looks pretty complex for such simple tasks. What doesn’t work while that thing is unplugged?

Will this make my temperature gauge don’t to work

I doubt it. Can you post a clear picture of the ford part number stamped on the outside of it?

You should probably start at least 99 new threads today. Maybe one of them will make sense.

The temperature sender for the gauge has one wire connected to it. With the key on, take the wire off the sender and short it to ground. That should send the needle to the hot end of the gauge if I recall correctly.

How can you test the temperature gauge to see if it works
Thats been answered in your other thread.

You ground the SENDER wire out with the key on and see if the gauge pegs on "H"

There should be a part number on the module, probably starts with a Y.
