yea its always been a dream of mine, and i really wanna make a mud bog.
all the land in the woods 30 feet behind my house is bog, same with behind my garage and everywhere is bog mostly. and i was wondering how would be the best way to start it. i got plenty of access to heavy equipment(loaders, backhoes, etc) but would prefer not to use them until its absolutely necessary.
so any ideas on where to start? i just wanna make a straight drag, around the 75ft range. its no trouble to find 100' of swampy land, but alot of it got long grass growing up in it, and every 10 or so feet is a big hole. whats the best way to get it all one big mud hole? if any of you ever built any, id love your help. im sure some of you guys built one or two
thanks

get a dozer and drive over it a bunch, or just get a shovel and muck boots and start fixin it.

Best thing to do is keep all the imperfections, just makes it more fun! but if they become a hazard, destroy them.

AGAIN ...... 1 word.... dozer

the best way to make a mud bog is to find a start, figure out where you want to finish, and drive from one to the other.soon enough, you will have a bog.good luck.

Don't forget to floor it!

and get stuck, its no fun without having the huge holes you spun out in last time to dodge.

if this takes to long you could always invite some friends to help

absolutely fantastic advise....and make sure your freinds floor it too.THAT"S how you make a mud bog.

well i only got 1 friend that got a truck to wheel and its also his DD, its a 87 blazer 10" lift and 38s. none of my other friends have trucks they wheel hard so it will be just 2 of us for now.. im thinking ill just make a figure 8 track or somethin on the terrain that it is now until it gets rid of all the grassy spots and its just all mud then jus have straight drags

In a month or so it should be frozen over...then you'll need a skater...
