Making A Flatbed And Help****

I have a 1990 ranger xlt.. and the bed was shot so i took it off right when i got it.. in the future im going to want to haul stuff.. so any suggestions to the easiest cheapest strongest way to make a flat bed..? any help or pics is appreciated.. thanks alot
