ive been thinking of using junkyard parts to turn my 95 ranger into a 4x4. i was thinking of f150 axles on leaf springs front and back eventually being powered by a 302. im thinking im going to have difficulties with the steering any suggestions? i think with a 3 inch body lift there should be enough room to stuff a manual tranny and transfer case underneath it.

use coils up front alot easier. I bought a new frame for my truck and just happened the new frame was a 2x4 but the whole f150 front suspension is alot easier to do than running leafs. mine is a 95 as well.

got any pics or descriptions of your work. what you did how you did it... seems like leafs would be easy since you dont have to worry about alignment as much and all you really have to do is bolt the shackles onto the frame.
