You are right ZMan. I have used K&N filters in all my cars since 1980 with no problems.

I have also followed a convoy of many Rangers on a dusty road for many miles and at the end it was difficult to tell the color of my Ranger due to the thick layer of dust on it. Later, when I cleaned my K&N filter, I wiped the inside of the intake duct that goes to the throttle body with a white cloth to determine if dust had gotten past my filter. It came out as white as it was before wiping.

It's not that he's Democrat. He's just very intellegent and uses complete sentences. He also thinks about what he's posting and back it with facts. It's very easy to get the two confused.
