Hi everyone, the trans blew in my 5.0, 5 speed, 4x4 truck. I made a post a few weeks ago asking about what I should do, I got some great info on an m5r2 swap and decided to go that route (I’ve got one arriving at a local salvage yard this week out of a 97 4.2 f150 41k miles) especially since my truck has a 3 inch body lift. I’m now in need of some more info. What clutch to use? Can I keep the stock 5.0 flywheel and pilot bearing?
What throw out bearing and master and slave cylinder should I use? Also is there anything else I should be aware of? Thanks, Owen.

M5ODR1 hydraulics, mid 90's 5.0 flywheel/clutch/starter. You also need the seperator plate from a 5.0 truck or be handy with a dremel to get the starter to fit in the 4.2 plate.

Okay got it thank you, would it be okay if I drop links to parts I’m looking at and have you verify if they’ll work or not?
