Hello, I'm changing my clutch in my 95 with a 2.3L in it. Everything went good and I got the transmission back up. But I didn't pay attention when I took out the bolts; Anyone know if all the bolts should be the same length? I have 1 bolt thats about a 1/2" longer than the other 5 I have and I was missing one bolt when I took it down(top DS).

I'd post in this thread for answers since the OP there is in the middle of reinstalling his '97 M5OD-R1 on a 2.3.

The long ones go through the alignment dowels, the short bolts go through the top four bolt holes.

Thanks, I asked.on that other thread to see what they have found out.

@Shran
I have 8 bolt holes. From top down the First row go to the engine, next row bell housing, next two alignment pins next row bell housing , last row into the engine

Mine has at least 3 different lengths. I looked at mine very carefully to see if I could switch one to an easier hole to get to... because the head on one is messed up. Which one are you missing? What hole?

I found this for a '97. I think it's accurate.

Said it was 95 to 97. You'll have to convert to millimeter....like m10 x 1.5 x length in mm. You can convert on google. Three different lengths.
Note "P.Side". The other side has a different upper.

Thank you thank you, I had found that video day before yesterday and was coming here to ask if it seemed right. We're on the gulf coast and had to pack up and get away from that storm but when we get back home I'ma go off of it and just take my time to verify nothing bottoms out.
