m5od-r2, what master/slave combo?

im getting too many differnt answers, what year/model master and slave cylinders do i use in a 302 with a 97+ m5od-r2, i know some combos work and some dont release the clutch fully.. this is going in an 86 if anyones asking..

someone said the 83-92 masters and slaves will work fine.. is this true?

i bought one from a 88-92 ranger with a 7/8 bore, hope it works.. stiff pedal is fine aslong as it releases...

I'm pretty sure I used one from a 1994 Explorer. Found that information somewhere in the forum, but not sure where. Works great.
