For Sale M5OD-R1 + 1350 manual transfer case

Not sure how well they mix and match.

I've never heard of anyone converting from a fixed front output to a slip yoke.

I looked into doing it to my NP205 which has massive aftermarket support and many applications across the big three, nothing out there to convert it either.
Oh. For some reason my mind got twisted around and mixed up front drive shaft with input shaft to the t-case. As long as it bolts up to the transmission, there should be a work-around for the drive shafts. I think I currently have 2 of the 1350 front drive shafts to play with. It might get slightly expensive. But a shaft can be made.

Honestly with the lift kit I'd be surprised in the stock 1350 shaft didn't just fit. There is only an inch difference between the D35 and the D28.

Holes should be tapped but the front driveshaft is different between a 1350 and your 1354.

If they are too long it is cheap to have one shortened. If they are too short it is cheaper to find one that is too long and have it shortened.

It would probably work going the other way.

Rear shafts are the same between 13-50 and 13-54’s.

U-Joint size varies wildly. The rear driveshaft that is in my truck from a '99/1354 with a 1310 cross which is much larger than the 1210 cross my truck had originally.

This is true.

Yes and no. If I had a 3.0 compatible M5OD, I could put this transfer case on it and get everything ready outside the truck. On the other hand, there is one in the truck right now. It just has the electric shift t-case on it. And I don’t recall if it has the holes drilled and tapped for the shifter. I might still have to do that.

Why? Just swap is tailhousing into your existing trans.
