I've got a 87 B2 with a 94 302 and a C-4 mated to a 13-50. I want to replace the C-4 and 13-50 with a m50d and 13-56 out of a f-150. The parts I can think of are flywheel, clutch, slave cyl., master cyl., clutch and brake pedals. t-case and driveshafts. My concerns are 1)how do I make the bronco2 master connect to the f-150 slave, 2)What type of flywheel/clutch do I run mustang? f-150? Combo? 3) does the 13-56 physically fit in the rbv frame rails? Also does anyone have a right-up or pics?

C-4 and M50D are diff bolt patterns i beleive

This is why ford crap is so confusing... The m5od-r1 was put in rangers explorers and aerostars with the small v-6 bolt pattern. It was also used in the fullsize trucks behind the 5.0 and 4.9 and designated the m5od-r2. This would be the trans I want toput behind my smallblock. If this isn't true can someone please set me straight.

You are correct in your beliefs of the TWO different versions of the M5OD. As far as the the transfercase, I have no freaking idea if it would fit. I can't see why it wouldn't fit... other than the physical size being different... but it's not that different.

I had briefly thought about the ZF until I actually saw one! Those things are monsters! Without measuring I'm pretty sure it won't fit even with a 3" B/L. As for the flywheel/clutch, I'm planning to use the mustang flywheel and the clutch for the truck what I don't know is do the bolt patterns match?
