I've been driving the "new" brown truck around town before I do the swap just to see if I can make anything pop so I can fix those issues at the same time.
I was driving on the highway at ~60mph today and all of a sudden the rpms climbed way up. Coasted to the side of the road, and it acted like I had the clutch in when it wasn't when I tried to take off again. After I had it towed back home, I peeked in the inspection hole and the fingers on the pressure plate are flat as though the clutch is engaged. Something made an staccato hissing noise for a moment before it went, maybe the slave pissed brake fluid all over the clutch/flywheel?
