I'm putting an M5OD in my 87 ranger.
My problem is that i bought the clutch parts for a 93, because that is what my new engine is. I can't get the 93 master to bolt up to the firewall, the bolt pattern is different.
I know there are a few different bores for the masters. Can I use my 87 master or should i get one from a 2nd gen, like a 91?

Uhhh... that's interesting because I have had a 1993 master cylinder and line in my 1987...

The 1993-94 master cylinder twist-locks into a metal cup that BOLTS to the firewall
and mounts to the same two holes as all 1983-92 Rangers/Bronco2/Explorers

IF your master doesn't bolt up you were given the wrong one.

BTW, you MUST HAVE a clutch line with a gold/yellow quick connect to mate up to the 1993 slave cylinder.
