M50D Shift Fork Replacement

I took the top off my gearbox and have new shift forks ordered. I have a general idea of how to replace them, but are there any known write-ups of how to do it or any special tips, tricks or things to remember? Thanks

I did this just a few weeks ago. It is a real simple job. Once you get the pins out just be patient and work the rod back and forth till you get it moving. Once you start you will see what I mean. Good luck. It will go back together easier than it came apart.

Thanks for the advice. I got it banged out today. It was pretty easy. It's also nice not having to shift from 2nd to 5th gear lol.
