Hi everyone, my name is Roxy. I was a long-time "Chevy" girl until last October, when I met & bought my first Ford Pickup. I knew the moment I saw it and sat in the seat, that she was going to be mine. Now, I live in CA and it took until now Jan 2014, to get it legally running, as the guy who sold it to me, burned me. I didn't give up, and a couple thousand more $ later, she runs GREAT, thanx to LD, the best auto tech I know! I still need ALL the front end replaced, and the seller jammed the 4 wheel drive actuator motor whatever underneath (seller was a moron), but it gets me where I am going! I have wanted a 4X4 p/u for so long, and it doesn't matter how bummed I am when I get in my truck, I can't help but smile! She is a '98 Ranger XLT 4X4 OffRoad Standard Cab & Standard Bed. It has a funky plastic tool box that will be thrown away as soon as I get a real one. I work construction and not about to put all my tools in a plastic tool box that doesn't lock. I have been reading a lot on this site for a few couple of weeks and have learned a lot, so decided I should join. Thanx for all the info...I am not one of those girls who is clueless about her vehicle, well, still learning about this one. I have tons of friends that are very happy I am a "Blue Oval" chick now...lol
