So I scored a set of buckets with Lumbar supports for my '88 Reg. Cab...any suggestions for wiring them?

One wire is hot (with a fuse) and one wire is ground.

I've got a set of them but never plugged them in...there is actually a 30 amp breaker in the fuse panel for power seats...you might want to run it through that...

ok, so I've got 18" of wiring harness and I'm gonna ground them to the cab....any suggestions for the hot wire?

Just wire it to a ignition on or direct hot somewhere.

Well, the hot wire should run through the fuse panel...but you can run it directly...I'd put it on the breaker though just to be sure...not much to do other than run the wire under the carpet and up to the fuse panel...
