The passenger side front tire is held on by 1 tight lugnut and 4 loose ones. The other 4 will not get tighter or looser. I think the whole lug and nut are spinning, I'm really at a loss of how to get them off to change the brakes. Pease let me know. Thank you

Sounds like the splines in the rotor are stripped. You'll have to drill out the wheel studs or cut them off and replace the rotor. I've never had that happen. Maybe somebody knows a trick--like drill and tap the stud with a smaller screw in it, hold the nut and tighten the inside screw while loosening the nut. Sounds like there could be some rusty parts under that wheel.

Cut off the lug nuts then hammer the studs through and go pic up some new ones for 3$ a peice

Thank you for the idea, I'm going to drill them out and drive them the rest of the way out. They got a big drill bit and a bigger drill with there name on it will report back with results

I got them all off. I cut the end caps off of the nuts and took a 1/2 titanium bit to them. I could get some pictures and do a quick write up for the tech guide if someone would like. Just give me a email to send it to fo:yahoo:r grammar and all that. Thanks for the ideas guys!!

i had the same problem 3 days ago. a simpler alternative to drilling out the stud is to drill through the nut and then take a chisel and where the nut is now split and tap it until the nut seperates enough to fall off.

Anyone else who encounters this, remember the hub/rotor are one piece.
So you can pull the rotor off and work on it on a bench, or somewhere convenient.
