Lucas trans fix

I've got a bad syncro in my 5 speed. You have to fight it into first when its cold but it smooths out a little after it gets up to temp. I was thinking of adding some Lucas Trans fix to see if it helps any. Anyone have any experience with the stuff?

Lucas is for automatic transmissions (not that it works that well).

have you checked the fluid in your transmission? sounds to me like you have a clutch problem, try to pump the pedal and then put it in first

you might just need to bleed the clutch or like earl said, a bad slave cylinder

Yeah I checked the fluid a few weeks ago and found it almost a quart low. I filled it up and it doesnt seem to have gone down since. I'll give the gravity bleed a shot and see where I stand....
