I'm doing almost the same swap, I had a question about the exhaust. Did you flip the headers because they wouldn't fit going back or did you just do it because you like it like that? Looks badass though man! Makes me excited for mine.

I had to make my own steering shaft out of 3/4'' round bar and some universals from Speedway Motors. Added a hiem joint to hold the shaft away from the headers.Sorry to bother this thread again, but did you have to do anything to your steering with that header set up.
I just used the stock ranger crossmember and cut the ends off of it and set it inside the frame rails. There are pictures of how its mounted in the thread. No one knows what he did as far as mounting there tranny?
No turbo set up for me. I just ran the headers like this to clear the frame and steering shaft. Im sure if I notched the frame I could get standard headers to fit. With the headers having v-band clamps on the collectors, and facing forward, it looks to me like he's going to go with a turbo setup.

Stock trans crossmember just cut down and put inside the frame rails. I had a new drive shaft made but the stock one would have probably worked mine had a big dent in it so I wasn't gonna use it.What mods did you do for the transmission to be mounted? Is that the stock driveshaft?
I used the stock 5.3l truck oil pan. Stock front springs DJM Dream Beams and some Competition Engineering 90/10 shocks. As I’m about to begin my build I’m curious to know if you used the standard oil pan or went a different one for clearance. Also, did you change the front suspension any or just go with the basic shocks and struts it already had?
Its been running great I've put about 15,000 miles on it since the swap and have had zero issues.Ok thanks. Appreciate the info! How’s the truck running?
