So i just did my drop went with the djm 4/5 looks great but want to go a little lower in the back. I looked at the teac library and saw that you can flip the rear spring hangers. My question is does it mess with your pinion angle? also i have seen some people say you just flip the hanger upside down and others say you flip them upside down and swap them to the oppsite side of the truck which is correct? also i know i will need a c notch will the djm notch give me enough suspension travel or do i need a bigger notch?

First question do you have a standard or extended cab truck? A hanger and shackle flip will give about 2" of drop or you can use a lowering block as well.

i have a 98 standard cab flareside. Yea i know about the two inch drop and i wanna stay away from blocks because from my experience blocks give a rough ride. I have the 4/5 drop on my truck looks great just want the rear to sit level if not a little bit lower.

the mini notch should give u the travel u need, and from wat i have seen and worked out in my head is that u will need to flip and swap hangers from sides, if u look at them u will understand my theory haha, i havent been able to do my drop yet unfortunetly but i have put a lot of research into it

Blocks wont change the ride since the spring rates are not being messed with. With the standard cab your good to go with a djm or universal notch. Extended cabs run into drive shaft issues when you notch them.

ok well thats good to know. if i do go with the hanger flip will it mess with the pinion angle and does it give you more suspension travel?

hanger flip doesnt change travel, and it rides pretty good with it. I highly reccomend the mini notch to get your travel back. the lower you go the closer to the frame the axle gets. thats what the mini notch is for.
