i have a 93 single cab long bed ranger i have the 4 inch rear flip kit and was gonna order the 3 inch springs for the front anybody know if i'll have trouble getting it aligned i really don't want to spend 300 bucks on some "dream beams"

The dream beams help clear the frame rails when the suspension is fully compressed. But the quality of work on them is horrible. :P

You might be able to align it out with alignment cams. I don't think you be able to get camber and caster right on the money though.

3 inches is pretty much the max for springs upfront, the only way to allign it will be with the 4 degree eccentrics from napa ( if they will get it they should at least get close).

and dream beams are very nice high quality products, i dont know where you heard they were bad from. i got mine used and ive had them on my truck for about a year and a half i even took a direct hit from a tree to the tire when i wrecked (see avatar) and the beams held up fine i would highly recomend them

Belltech makes a 2" drop coil, that is the biggest coil drop you can do and know it will still be able to be re aligned. DJM 3" drop beams or "dream beams" are the best in the industry and also have the best price. Every brand drop beam on the market is made very well but they are all more expensive than DJM and DJM also provides the most frame clearance if you ever decide to go lower.

I have a 93 stepside n It's dropped 3-1/2 inchs in the front it's got the dream beams but it also looks like the guy that dropped it cut the springs too I was wonderin if the 3-1/2" drop springs would make it ride nicer? N its got a axle flip kit in it n the guy modified the shackles to raise the truck up 2" but it still looks like there is a ton of weight in the bed

no such thing as 3 1/2 inch spring, beams are the best for a good ride because it keeps the stock springs and shocks if you want to go more than the 3 inches the beams give you then you can get 2 inch beltech springs

If I go wit the 2 inch springs will that make it ride rougher?

Yes, but only because you'll be hitting bump stops a lot quicker in the motion of the axle.

Run a set of Doetsch Nitro Slammer shocks and you will have a nice ride. I sell them as well as the coils. Also the previous owner may have cut the coils (which is a crappy ride) but it could also have a set of the 1" drop ranger splash coils in it unless it is obvious that they have been cut.

this guy knows his ranger suspension....have my 2/4 kit on the way from him for my 93 as we speak.

Can you help me get the info I need for my 93 ranger?

Dropped I beams will preserve suspension travel. Cutting the springs will reduce it and you'll end up with too much negative camber.

I wish you'd posted this last year, I'd have been happy to swap my dropped I beams for your stock ones.

👋🏼 I’ll swap for yours. I got a 93 stock I beams good condition.

Thanks but my rear axle is mounted above the springs and the whole suspension is rebuilt and aligned. I'm going to leave it alone now.
