Lowered and SAS?

I dont believe it would be possible without completely removing the engine crossmember. Even then I doubt you could get it much if any lower than stock. Even if you could your uptravel would be nearly non-existent. The diff has to go somewhere. May I ask what kind of project this might be?

get 4 hub motors

skid steer rules

I think about the best you could do is what Patov8 has done with his ranger. He is sitting about the same height I am, with 3-4 inch larger tires and a ton more travel. Plus it is one of the cleanest builds I have ever seen.

tire size would be the base factor.

if the plan is to run it on the street, not a lot of uptravel is needed (2" or so max).

but a solid axles handles like ass on the street...so i hope thats not the plan.

so your just gonna leave us hanging without telling us whats up your sleeve then, huh?

why

lower 4x4 but why buy a two drive and lower that 4x4 rise 2x4 lower

I'll post up a thread once I get all the details sorted out. Mostly to check my plans against others knowledge and past/current experiences.

Hadawahawa?

What in the world did you just say?
No clue.

I used to decipher code for the CIA :icon_thumby:
lol
Ahh I see.

Well in response to RumpRanger. I do not own a four wheel drive ranger. I did not say I owned a four wheel drive ranger. I do not plan on having a four wheel drive ranger for this project, sam I am.

There are Solid Axel 2wd trucks out there by the way. Not lowered, but they're there. My dad's old truck is a perfect example, but I don't plan on putting a Full Size Dodge axle in there..

So you're gonna swap in a single I-beam?
