Hey, guys. I just want to ask a few questions. I just bought a new lower valance with the fog light slits and bought the lamps for it as well to fit on my 99 2wd XLT Styleside. It looks to be an easy swap but how do you mount the lamps in the valance? Do I need to get some parts to mount them? Anybody know where I can get the wires for the lamps at a great price?

Thanks

They mount to the bumper, not the the valance, they use bolts and speed nuts (the ones that kinda look like this)

You should be able to get the parts at any parts store, or fastenall, maybe even Home Depot.

As far as the wiring goes, make your own, any auto parts store will have the pigtails for headlight bulbs, buy two of them for the fog light bulbs (9006 IIRC) and solder/ heat shrink them to the fog light harness connector behind the headlights....

Man!! Thanks for the info!! This was driving me nuts trying to figure how the fog lamps got mounted. I can do the wiring myself since you explained that to me. I just thought I needed to get the fog lamp harness since it had the special two prong setup.
