lower radiator hose diameter?

hi. needing to know the diameter of the lower radiator hose in my 1997 ranger 2.3. will be another week before i can get a manual and i found a FREE 2" lower radiator hose heater for the coming winter. just wanted to know if it's going to fit so i can get it done this weekend. i didn't see anything with a search here, but maybe i wasn't using the right words, idk. thanks.

ps. here in the land of 2 seasons (winter and getting ready for winter), you try to do these things when the weather is good. especially when working outside!

Without pulling the lower hose off. I checked the diameter of the lower water outlet on my 97 2.3L and it's 1 1/2".

i was afraid of that. getting something free and then being able to really use it doesn't happen that often for me. i would have done that but it's not at my house right now.
