How do I remove the lower ball joint on a dana 35?

It presses out of the knuckle.

How do I remove it from the control arm? The upper was no problem, the lower doesn't budge.

Well, technically it is an ear, not a control arm. Anyway, the answer it hammer. Get everything else apart, shaft out, nut off, hit the ear with a hammer until the knuckle falls out. Don't let it land on your foot.

I got the harbor freight c-frame press for 40 bucks w 25% off coupon and found it to be a most excellent addition to my tools. I pressed all my ball joints, u-joints and some bushings w/ it and love it. I even did my ball joints right after hernia surgery by standing on the breaker bar after I set it up, works great.
