I put new tire and wheels on my 08 B2300 ad the Low Tire Pressure signal has come one. Does any one know a way to turn of the light on the dashboard?

Did you get sensors placed in the new wheels? if not you should either do that... or do what others do and remove the bulb or put a piece of electrical tape over the indicator.

Unless the ranger measured it a different way without the bandsensors...?

No, it will have bands and sensors. If not installed on the new wheels you will have a light on the dash. It cannot be turned 'off' as it is federal law that any vehicle built 2008 and later has to have a functioning TPMS system. So either swap the sensors over from the old rims (will require new bands) or buy a new set of bands and sensors for the new rims, of live with it.

He could probably get away with removing the bulb if there isn't inspections of that kind of thing though... Personally I hate the idea of adding idiot lights and then making them manditory. It makes everyone morons... but atleast they pay attention to stuff now...

Well if its a federal manditory thing couldn't he just take it into the dealer and have them put them on since they are required for free?

It ain't free. Its not the dealers fault he switched rims. It adds up to about $400 for all the sensors and bands.
