i need help on finding a low stall torque converter if they even make one. my idea is this the factory torque converter stall rate is to high to achieve the fuel economy that is possible. with a 4.0 it has plenty of power to spare especially on the low end. the engine is doing way to much rpm for the work necessary for the truck to be a daily driver the only reason you would need that high of a stall rate would be for towing and a ranger is not an ideal towing vehicle. if anyone knows of any companies or people that make a torpue converter with a lower than oem stall rate please let me know.

leave the stall speed alone. If you install a converter with a too low of stall, it will really hurt driveability and fuel economy. Plus it can mess the PCM if the truck is EEV ( 95 and newer )
