LOW idle and dying when baking hard

94 Ranger 3.0 2wd Auto. A few days ago in traffic I needed to hit the brakes hard and the truck died when I did. Since then I've had a very low quiet idle and whenever I need to brake a little hard the truck dies but starts right back up after I put in park and restart. I tried looking it up and looking into it and the 2 things I found it could be are the brake booster or the auto transmission torque converter clutch lock solenoid (TCC) I tried a few things I saw on diagnosis for the brake booster but honestly couldn't tell for sure and there is no leaks for the master cylinder. Unsure of where to go from here, could any of you more knowledgeable guys help me out. I haven't dealt with this kind of issue or a bad booster before now. Take the vacuum line off the booster and put a bolt in it. Then see if it idles better. You could also try hitting the brakes hard but be careful, the brake pedal will be hard to push the truck will be harder to stop.

I'll give it a try, every other test I did was 50/50 not a hard fail but not a obvious pass either

SOLVED for now. After removing and checking my booster I can confirm that it was worn the hell out and most likely leaking cause my lower RPMs, still unsure on any of the other testing I did for it because I felt like none of the results were conclusive enough. With the new brake booster installed the RPMs picked back up and evened out more AND I HAVE GOT SOME BRAKES NOW, I had brakes before but now I GOT BRAKES. But while doing all this testing and braking I ran very close if not on Empty and continues testing and it was still happening. So I fueled up and now it's not happening anymore and I good for now until the next ranger problem. I will be looking into why the low fuel did this and learning more about these old fuel systems. If anyone knows anything off the top of their head the knowledge would be greatly appreciated this ranger isn't allowed to die until I do and IT WILL take me to every national park
