Rolled my old Monte Carlo 30 feet down a wash. Found myself homeless and broke in the middle of Utah 2k miles from home. bought my 88 2.3 from a junker that fixed it up for a friend who left it with him. Came with a toolbox and I found a camper shell for it a week later. Stayed in Utah working for a little shop out there till I had enough $ to make it back to Texas. I love this car. but about 2 weeks ago a crack in the head did her in.
I'm absolutely determined to get this thing mobile

Sad story...

Good for you to just lace up your boots and make it through the rough patch.

I'm sure it's fixable with some effort.

Glad to have you here.

Welcome to TRS....

That's the plan. Yea. Problem right now is the 4 plug heads from before 88 are pretty hard to find, found a couple rebuilds but they are pricey

welcome!!

where are you in texas? the closer you get to the southern border, the harder to find rangers in the junkyards

Hey j I'm up on the north end. I found a couple of places selling parts but I ended up just shelling out for a new-ish head.
If it works itll be worth it,
