Well, it seems I need help finding my computer. After staying at the mechanic"s for two weeks he said the only thing they did not try was to install another test computer. So my plan is to try to find a computer either like mine or close to it, install it and see if it fixes or at least changes the performance problem. I explained the problem in an earlier thread. But right now I am having a problem just finding the thing. I was told it was behind the kick panel on the driver's side. But couldn't find it there. Then I was told it was behind the passenger's kick panel, not there. I have a 93 2wd 4.0L auto. In the salvage yard I noticed something that looks like a computer in the radio compartment on the passenger's side. Could this be it? Any help or suggestions is appreciated.

Look in the engine compartment, drivers side, below the brake booster, recessed into the firewall.

Thanks snoranger. It was right where you said it would be. I guess all in all it is a little easier to get to there than trying to wad myself up in the floor to get to the kick panels.
Plus when I go back to the salvage yards I will know where to find it. Thanks again.
