i am a chevy guy so this is my first Ford i have ever dropped. I have have found the djm 3/4 drop but i need to know if anyone knows where i can find 1" drop coils and can i block the rear end 1" along with the flip kit? I am buying the djm 3" dropped i-beams from a friend and i have foose 18" speedsters to put on the truck. Maybe if someone has any pictures of a pre-97 ranger drop or being dropped underneatht the truck that might help me get an idea of what im looking at. Also what will i need to align the front end propery? Thanks for any imput.

find a set of factory splash springs, they were lowered 1in from the factory. and with that much drop in the rear you will probably want a mini notch. blocks you can get from about anywhere.

You won't need a notch, but it will help keep your ride from being INSANELY bumpy on those horrible roads.

I had mine lowered 4/4 and I raised it back up. Then I flipped the shackles and it's sitting how I love it!

Oh, and I'm not bashing you, but there is a HELL of a lot of stuff on this site and RangerPowerSports.com that have all the information you're looking for on dropping these awesome trucks. Please try some searching around and then ask for clarification if something doesn't seem understandable to you.

You'll find that dropping these trucks is mechanically easy as hell. It's when everything is rusted that it becomes a struggle for your sanity. So, remember to PBlaster your frame for two weeks before you attempt anything.

The best place to get camber adjusters for when you lower it is NAPA. Searching around will provide more than I can explain here and now.

Later dude, and welcome to The Ranger Station!
