Looking for some Feedback on an idea i have.

witch is very possible being when i tryied to fix the 1st one i fawked the whole thing and busted the key cylender and was hot wireing it with that switch in my lap held togeather with tape

very much so. well guys ima leave that opened up so i can see how long that tape lasts an if its a while il just retape as needed or new switch and if it goes all to hell.....:icon_welder:

thanks for teh advices:icon_cheers:

Actually the switch screws in but the early trucks used special
bolts that had break away heads

A replacement switch will come inwith replacement screws.

a later stock switch would be held in with tamper proof torx screws.

And I'll tell you the same thing as everyone else... Replace the column.

You want a column? I've got a TILT column that I can ship you.

Hell if you send me a key I can re-key a cylinder to fit YOUR key...

i like that tilt idea alot and heck it would be a nice upgrade and il Pm you back for price/shipping

Theres half your problem right there. The right side red arrow shows the lack of contact right nect to a smashed looking area. It looks like that smakshed spot has spread out the metaql somewhat and preventing a smooth contact.
