exactly what the title says.

just looking to update the look, without doing a body or suspension lift, and without getting different tires as mine are just fine right now.

1988 ranger xlt 4x4 2.9L
stock rims

any suggestions? no more than $125 per rim... i am not made of money, and in fact this won't probably be for a while anyway hah.

1. Used Ranger or Explorer 15" aluminum wheels. Most are 15x7.
2. American Racing 767 black spokes, steel, cost about $45 each new.
On a stock '88 the biggest tire you're going to fit is a 235/75-15 or 30x9.50-15 if the springs aren't sagging too much.

i'm not worried about going that big lol... i don't like the look.

anyway, i am almost positive they are stock rims (can anyone back this up by looking at the picture?) so the tires have to fit the 15x7 rims, so the 15x7 is what i'm looking for... tires are fine right now, so not going to go and replace them. and plus i get better mpg with smaller tires.

thanks for option number 2, will look into it.
