Looking for advice

Hi new to this forum and first time Ranger owner. I just bought a 1988 Ranger 4x4. Will be looking to up grade drive train as money allows. V8 auto tanny and axles. Any advice anyone can give would be appreciated. Will be doing the work my self.

Welcome to the Station! Let's get some pics up asap. Advance Adapters usually has some pretty good stuff to ease installing new trannys and engines. Check them out and let us know what you find.

don't underestimate the 4.0 swap for a 1st gen! but lets see some pics and some more detailed plans. street? trail? both? sas? lets hear it.. and start up a build thread when you start building on it..
