looking for 4.10 axles or gears

hello all.

is there any ontario canada members out there that know were i can get some 410 gears for my 87 b2 4x4, ive been calling wreckers and searching clasified for cheap rangers and bronco but with no luck finding 4.10s in a d28 or d35.

You should have asked last month. I couldn't even give my old b2 away, 4:10 gears, four wheel disks etc.

that sucks i wanst even a member last month, what did you do with your b2? scrap yard?

I'd sell you my D28 front 4.10 ratio gearing but I'm up in the air on weather or not I'll be getting a D35 or keeping the axle.

It went to a scrap metal guy. Sucks really cause it was a great runner but the body was ninety percent rust.

I hate rust.. mine leaks from the roof because of rust, had to pull the carpet out because it was all rotten, i may have to take the headliner out soon aswell.

Not really, there are tons of junk yard everywhere. Well most of them are just people with a butt load of junk cars.

The real problem is trying to order stuff from somewhere else and have it shipped here.

Don't forget that you could use a hybrid 35 I put one in and my u-joints are holding up well now.They are common in the 4.10 ratio.

what vehicle should i look for that is equiped with a hybrid D35

90 and 91 Ranger with 2.9 and 4x4. That is probably the best bet.

I am going to replace my D28 with a 4.10 not sure how the shipping will be.
its will in good shape

thanks ronclark but i think the shipping costs will be a little much, i do have a brother-inlaw in the vancover area that may be able to pick it up but i would still have to get it across country..
aprox how much do you think the d28 weighs?
maybe ill look into shipping costs.
and how much would you want for it?
